Sainte Foy Bordeaux:
This vast viticultural area is situated between St. Emilion and
Bergerac, 80 km to the east of Bordeaux. The fertile hills of chalk
and clay overlooking the Dordogne River. This is a newer appellation
with energetic vignerons seeking opportunities to distinguish themselves
over their more complacent Bordelais counterparts. The
Clairets from this district are truly exceptional: the color
is a deep ruby, highlighted with garnet and flavor presents summer
fruits and spice.
Cépages:
Merlot,
Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc
