du Layon: These vineyards, located
on the left side of the Loire near Champs sur Layon, have a southern
orientation and an Atlantic micro climate that produces exceptional
Chenin Blanc. The
soil is a blend of clay and chalk
that enhances the textures of this wine. Very appealing.

the Producer: Domaine Chupin is well known in
the Loire valley for its superb vineyard of 100 hectares located
in Champ sur Layon. The vineyard was first established during
Napoleon III's reign. An award winning vineyard with exceptional

Tasting
Notes: An elegant,
off-dry wine with a golden color bearing flecks of pale green.
This is a rich, sweet wine with subtle aromas of almond and acacia,
tasting of honey and quince on the palate.

Food Pairings: As an aperitif or as or with dessert.
With cheeses and fois gras, melon and proscuitto - -these are exceptional
pairings.
