Pinot
Nero :
Known
as Pinot Nero in northern Italy , this Pinot Noir combines elegance
with a rustic style that is most charmingly Italian. Made by the
Cantina di Montecchia, this lively Pinot is sourced from the hills
just north and east of Verona . In some ways, the Le Crosare Pinot
Nero offers the same purity and vivacity as Valpolicella - perhaps
the Veneto 's most famous red wine. This 2007 Pinot Nero is the
discriminating choice to delve into the world of Venetian Pinot
Noir.

Notes:
The Le Crosare
Pinot Nero has an enchanting range of aromas. The ripe cherry and
raspberry fruit scents are delicately interwoven with a panoply
of floral, herb, vanilla and exotic spice nuances. On the palate,
the wine combines breadth and delicacy as only Pinot Noir can. The
succulent cherry and strawberry fruit flavors are followed by a
tantalizing array of subtle herb and spice tones.

Food Pairings: Pinot
Noir is first rate with salmon and this Pinot Nero is no exception
- especially if the salmon is grilled. It's a fine match as well
for grilled chicken, game hen, or other fowl. Even for a night with
simple spaghetti and meatballs or pizza, Le Crosare Pinot Nero will
put you in that happy place!
