Chardonnay:
The David family has been tending vines in the Loire valley for
nearly 100 years. A Loire Valley Chardonnay has unique elements
gained from the proximity to the ocean and the mineral content of
the soil. In addition to Muscadet Sevre et Maine - one of
the primary wines of this region, the David family create this limited
availability wine: harvested by hand and vinified in accordance
with long standing family tradition, this wine is a gem. Very
appealing.
Cepage:
Chardonnay.
About
the Producer: Michel and Stephane David, father and
son representing the third and fourth generation of the family to
steward this property, are passionate about their wine. The grapes
are hand picked and sorted, treated to traditional methods of vinification,
including remaining in contact with the lie so as to give
the wine greater depth and character.
Tasting
Notes: A beautiful light gold color with aromas
of ripe fruits backed by hints of flowers, honey, and spice.
On the palate, it is round and ripe with great depth of fruit.
A harmonious combination resulting in a well-balanced fruited flavor
with citrus highlights.

White meats.
