Etienne Rodier

2007
AOC Côtes du Rhône

The impact of the Rhone soil character and hills on the grapes in this southern location is unmistakable.

Cépages: Grenache and Syrah

About the Producer:   The Rodier Family has long been a well-established family in Dijon.  At the beginning of the 20th century, Etienne Rodier became a wine-merchant. Etienne had a fine palate and developed a highly respected reputation in Burgundy.  He died fairly young and his son, Camille Rodier, who created the famous Confrerie des Chevaliers du Tastevin, took over. The wines from Etienne Rodier are famous for their elegance and their finesse.

As reflected by the worldwide recognition these wines routinely receive, their passion for viticulture and winemaking continues undiminished in the current generation.

Tasting Notes:  A fresh and easy wine with a beautiful structure that exhibits lovely fruity aromas.

Recommended Food Pairings: Lamb, grilled red meats, quiches and soft cheeses.
