AOC Cahors
The limestone character of the soil accounts for the outstanding
quality of this wine. True to the reputation of Cahors, this red
wine is dark, tannic, and long-lived but, due to the iron in the
soil, the wine remains soft and low in acid while the Merlot aspect
confers a delightful fruitiness. There is intrigue in every
sip.
